What is it that makes an audience love a character? Through comparative analysis and anevolutionary perspective, I have examined the relationship between the viewer ? the human ?and three popular characters: Shakespeare?s Bottom and Puck from A Midsummer Night?sDream and Dag-Otto Flink, the most popular character from Vallarnas friluftsteater inFalkenberg, Sweden. In what way do they attract us? Why do they attract us? The aim of thecomparative analysis between the characters was to reveal enough similarities for defining allthree as the same character type: the fool. One of the most important similarities for theevolutionary discussion was that especially Dag-Otto and Bottom are consistently themselves.Furthermore, the Darwinian perspective, especially with theories of Daniel Nettle, indicatesthat there are several factors that come into play for successive fiction.

In order to answer these questions an idea analysis were used. Three ideal types concerning democracy, effectivity and professionalism were used in analysing official governmental documents. The conclusion is that all three ideal types dominated the debate concerning the responsibility distribution, but in different degrees, and they can also explain why a new responsibility distribution came up in 1991..

Cancer är en av de sjukdomar som ökar mest för tillfället. En av orsakerna till ökningen är att medellivslängden blivit högre. Den ökade medellivslängden är något positivt i sig, men det innebär också att sjukdomen hinner drabba fler människor. Cancer är en sjukdom som påverkar många personer direkt eller indirekt och det är inte bara de som har cancer som är sjuka, utan hela familjen blir sjuk. Syftet med denna fallstudie var att belysa en persons upplevelse av att vara närstående till en svårt sjuk familjemedlem.

I denna uppsats har jag jämfört mottagandet i dagspressen av Agnes von Krusenstjernas roman Kvinnogatan och Karin Boyes roman Astarte. Syftet med uppsatsen var att analysera och jämföra hur två romaner av författarinnor som är kända för sina moderna och progressiva verk togs emot av en framförallt manlig kritikerkår. För att kunna göra det använde jag två teorier. Den ena är utformad av Gunilla Domellöf och tittar på hur kritiker, framförallt manliga, i allmänhet tog emot kvinnliga författare under det tidiga 1930-talet. Den andra, utformad av Tomas Forser, utgår istället från kritikern och handlar om kritikerns uppgift.

Shoppingturismen i Sverige är en stadigt växande genre inom turismen och i Sverige är shoppingdestinationen Gekås Ullared ett av de populäraste resmålen bland shoppingturisterna.Denna uppsats behandlar shoppingturismen med inriktning på destinationen Ullared. Syftet med uppsatsen är att bidra med en förståelse till varför turister väljer att åka till Gekås Ullared samt att ta reda på vem det är som besöker Gekås. För att uppnå syftet har vi använt oss av kvantitativ och kvalitativ metod för att få en stark validitet. Ansatserna för uppsatsen är hermeneutisk med sitt kvalitativa inslag samt positivistisk med dess kvantitativa inslag. Den kvantitativa delen består av en enkätundersökning med Gekås kunder.
